terror, state and nation..

acts of terror is variously been described as acts or cowardice, against humanity and against indians. but are they violence against the nation or against the State?

there are enough and more reasons for people like us to get pisd off with the system, and honestly, many of us thought of arson at least while we were stoned to glory..

the State has almost always been the big brother, and can only become a condescending entity at its very fckin best. differences of opinion is not welcome, nor are attitudes away from the accepted lines. any such things are repressed in the name of majority.

the word fascism is negative now, and has its roots in `bunch of rods'. nevertheless, an idea every State understand quite well and practice.




so, is it against the big brother or against the nation?

til now, the most daring act of terrorism is the one happened on 9/11: told hundreds of times over in 139 plus versions as to the fate of one flight, the missing rabbi and a german sheperd dog.

in india, the target has mostly been trains or buses; this could well be a case of commuter rage. america is more direct in its war; in someone else's backyard.

in theory, if some group of terrorists are able to link operations in three or four countries (saudi, russia, iran, kuwait and couple of soft targets like mexico and norway), and if they can blast some of the refineries in these countries, the result will be of compounding value, much like the fusion bomb.

these countries produce and export the maximum quantity of crude fuel in any form from oil to gas. Oil price in later 60s was around 8-10 USD. now it is near 140. for the past two years, there has been serious speculation that has jacked up the price, and i read somewhere that there is an NRI who is supposed to be a master in speculating the price correctly. they say there is largescale manipulations too.

if such an attack can be pulled off, the price of oil will double or triple, and so does the prices commodities. of soaps and cigs. of food grains. of everything. such a shortage will obviously give rise to widespread hoarding. the prices will go up again.

governments world over will have only two options: pass on the fck ups to the public as much as possible or bear it on themselves. a huge rise in oil prices will increase expenditure even bigger than all the foreign reserve currency that we have now, a little over 300 bln USD.

situation will be normal only in the countries in africa where people are dying even now, and a rise in number is merely statistical.



in compounding terms, this attack X existing grain prices X existing fuel prices X factor of speculation X the factor of hoarding X the attitude after globalisation would mean death of half the world due to starvation, malnutrition and health fck ups.

the problem as i see it is that the indian middle class and the media is obsessed with the economic progress. the middle class was strongly with the lower class till the early 90s. now, we are looking up to the wealth creators as role models and not at those with higher human values. education means iits and iims. values mean the worth of any action or belief when converted in million USD terms. it is not what u r or even wt u do tht matter, but ur salary slip thtz the criterion.

democracy, friends, is only one of the better options of administration. dnt forget tht there are other grossly misused options like left/right revolutions. if tht sweeps india, ur CAT or gate score thankfully wont matter anymore.

mao said revolutions would begin in the villages and would consume the cities. wait for it, the `urchins' that u despise will tel u the new theory of survival or the gospel according to the angry millions.
